How to help bring others to God... (How to start)

After becoming a Christian you may feel so different and you may feel like telling the whole world why you are different, but how do we do that? When I first started living like a Christian I wanted to do something in my life to bring others to the Lord but I didn't know where to start. And sadly I didn't try to find out till much later on. But you don't have to be like me. You can start right now. How can I start right now? you may ask and you may say"I don't live on a mission field" like its a excuse. well, you don't have to! something I found out much earlier on was this- sometimes the best place to start is in your very on backyard! The mission field doesn't have to be a place full of dirt and poorness and death. No it can be right where you are!

But for some of you, you may be worried and not sure if you can tell others about Jesus. Well, let me tell you something. You can! the Lord said he will be with you so he is with you! Let me tell you a secret... God always keeps his promises!

But this may not answer all your questions. For me when I started out it certainly didn't. My question still remained 'where do I start?' well the answer is right before you! in your BIBLE!!! your bible has everything you need to bring others to christ! The bible tells us: who created the world, how sin came into the world, how God cares for us, the promise of a saviour, where we will go when we go to heaven, the messiah, and the promise of heaven with no tears and sorrow. Sounds like a pretty good starting point to me. But I know you may be still unsure 'how can it be the bible? that's so simple and easy' yes it is, its simple and easy but that's the point. there's just one little small detail I forgot to add. You need faith.

So How to start? the BIBLE and FAITH and obviously GOD, without these three things it will be hard to get anywhere. Why do I need faith? because the bible says these two main things about faith...

1. (Mathew 17:20) Truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you." and from this verse we get the saying 'faith can move a mountain
2. (hebrews 11:16) And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
   

We need faith and God. Because God is the only one who can bring others to him. We are Gods servants and we must obey. And we must learn to lesson for him to speak to us and wait to feel the nudge and the most hardest part obey when the nudge comes. And then PRAY... pray for those who need christ and most importantly pray for other Christians out there following Gods call and pray for the Christian teens out there who are struggling with the pleasures of the world and what is right. Pray that they will be able to push through any trials that they may face, pray that if temptation comes they will have strong enough faith to choose what's right. And pray that if they are ever challenged over their faith. Their faith will be strong enough to stand up for what they believe.
